The Morning Bun: Quick blurbs with a fresh take on our young professional lives that we would probably share over mimosas…if it were not a weekday.
Last night, as I was looking over a personality test I completed at this same time last year (highly recommend Innermetrix, and yes, I’m proud to say I definitely have ADD), I realized the impenetrable accuracy of the results. I know exactly who I am (okay, besides the constant dilemma between sweet & savory at brunch), the environment I need to be in, and the potential paths for me post-25. “Potential” is key here, as there could be any number of paths that involve starting businesses, blogs, taking jobs, getting promoted in jobs, traveling — well, you get the point. Some paths are pure entrepreneurship, while others may have drips and drabbles of it. Point being, it’s important to take off our favorite Millennial hat (you know, the instant gratification visor) when it comes to our career, by understanding that it actually is a process. A journey. A tough one, where the only ball in our court is insuring we proactively hustle, prepare, and challenge ourselves. So I thought about all of this, and sent the following Tweetstorm — after ten attempts to get this right, thanks @twitter.
